Bob and Laura came into the shop looking for the fit first. They both already had existing bikes and were looking for more comfort, as well as possibly upgrading. After going through the fit process on our spinscan bike, they both decided on a custom Guru Magis triathlon bike. JT designed the layouts and had them sent to Guru. They both got the new Ultegra 6700 gruppo which gives the ulitmate balance of lightweight and rigidity, as well as the HED. Blackdog aerobars. Wheel choice was the Reyonlds Solitudes. Bob got an Adamo saddle and Laura opted for the Selle Italia Diva saddle.
They are both half ironman finishers and are volunteering this year at Ironman Arizona, and looking to sign up for IMAZ 2010. Laura's old bike, "white lightning" has had enough, and she thinks she'll now be able to edge out Bob at their next race. Now that the playing field is even, we'll see who can take the first win. Oh and by the way, nice shirt Bob! (San Diego Triathlon Classic participant).
